At the advent of Personal Computers (PCs) in 1980 there was a lot of excitement amongst professionals, educational institutes, public and private enterprises and yet as the name suggests, the PC was not accessible to majority of people as they found the prices too steep or no software that could fulfill their needs. PC and software to support various disciplines made rapid strides as the PC went from XT to AT 286 and then to AT 386 and various programs, which were earlier only wedded to mainframes and workstations, found their way to PCs and eventually to desktops of various categories of people. Prices too fell to acceptable sensibilities. In 1988 Indsys Computers (P) Ltd, with its office in New Delhi, India was found to facilitate professionals like architects, facility managers, mechanical and electrical engineers and companies associated with engineering disciplines. Indsys took the burden off these people by first offering to digitize their hardcopy drawings to intelligent vector drawings and giving them support for their day to day modifications. However a large amount of data which was associated with the drawings and required by project and facility managers was still being left out. We then extended our expertise by using add on software’s to provide databases linked to the drawings for quick referrals by the customer. This allows the professionals the freedom to do what they are best at and not the time consuming drafting and attaching databases. Indsys Computers (P) Ltd from 1988 has come a long way and at present offers an end to end solution to various professionals right from field verification at the building site to digitizing the drawings and offering services on the web where a client can freely transfer the drawings and send back to us for further action. It is our obsession and endeavor to give our client the utmost satisfaction so that his work load can be shared by us and we become an extension to their capabilities. |
