Furniture CAD Drawing
In the good old days a good furniture maker was a very sought after person, so he is now. Getting to manufacture a symmetrical object, like for example dining chairs to give same shape, size and identical semblance our earlier craftsmen used to create templates, accurate to the last line, curvature and depth. This was a cumbersome process but nevertheless very effective. These days this all has changed due to furniture CAD drawings. CAD allows us to do the templates which can then be set to CNC machines and allows the furniture manufacturers to produce furniture of the same kind minimizing the colossus effect the earlier manufacturers had to bear with.
Cabinet manufacturers and retailers also find CAD a very convenient tool for their day to day work and requirements. A plan view and an elevation drawing before the construction of the cabinets gives a very comprehensive idea to manufacturers as to the material and cost of the cabinets and also their location. Based on a cost benefit analysis with the customer, the maunufacturer or retailer can then decide whether modular furniture or furniture of customer design and size is required.
